Your Mission
We are looking for a Head of Internal Communications within our newly created Communications team, supporting our transformation into a leader in Web3 and making sure Improbablers are kept informed and engaged in the key messages, strategy and change programmes across Improbable. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with all areas of the business, especially the executive team and management community, as well as take responsibility for the design and delivery of communications on multiple Internal Comms owned and managed channels.

Areas for Impact:

  • Developing the internal part of Improbable’s overall communications strategy, fully consistent with our overarching objectives and external communications strategy, and working closely with the change management, organisational design team.
  • Building and enhancing the internal communications content and channels to support business objectives, incl. managing the revamp of our intranet.
  • Drafting messages or scripts from senior executives, and supporting crisis communications from an internal perspective.
  • Working closely with the Employee Engagement team to support the articulation of the employee value proposition in the employer brand for current employees and future hires.

We'd like to hear from you if you identify with the following:

  • You will have experience internally communicating change & transformative business updates in a fast-paced, complex and at times ambiguous environment, involving a wide range of stakeholders.

  • You will have particular sensitivity to signals collected throughout a variety of channels to form astute strategies responding to the internal climate and concerns.
  • You will also have a sense of bringing people together on at times complex projects, making sure the collaboration is fulfilling for all parties involved.
  • You will have proven experience leading on cross-functional projects using agile methodologies and will ideally have a qualification within project management.
  • You need to have a taste for content writing and a sensitivity to the power of words. You will create creative & sensitive content using a variety of different channels of communication to effectively keep Improbable employees engaged and updated.
  • You will be autonomous while ensuring strong communication and alignment with the other components of the communications and HR teams, and you will come proactively with creative ideas to improve the overall internal communications mix.
While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply.
