In this role you will be tasked to manage the specific Defence IT services and operations within Improbable IT. With the backing of the global IT support and engineering teams you will be accountable for the administration of Defence specific IT systems, the implementation and documentation of the control processes required to access them and mapping out resource requirements for the division for incoming hardware, software and support projects. You will have the opportunity to create long term IT strategy for the division that facilitates managed and scalable growth while being able to be hands on with industry leading and innovative customer technology projects and customer events.

Areas of Impact:

  • Lead on Defence system specific IT access policies and processes
  • Lead on Defence IT long term operational strategy
  • Lead on Defence system compliance
  • Lead on Defence customer site events

We'd like to hear from you if you identify with some of the following:

  • You have previously managed IT system and device audits to Defence standards
  • You are comfortable with Azure and Google Infrastructure
  • You are able to balance division needs vs compliance requirements
  • You have built control policies for IT systems
  • You have worked previously in a tech startup or software development company
  • You are able to manage resource requirements and needs for IT support work
  • You have worked hands-on in a customer site capacity
Please note that you may be required to obtain UK national security clearance in the future for this role.
