Responsibilities
Design and implement functionality for AAA external clientsResponsible for implementation in a number of areas including but not limited to gameplay, AI, UI, Multiplayer, Core TechIdentify and highlight any potential risks in the solutions that are being worked onProviding mentoring support to other members of the team as directed by the Lead/Technical Director Solve problems through the application of sound software engineering principlesContinuously work to minimise technical and maintenance issuesChampion quality in MPG and our clients development processOther duties as assigned
Requirements

A strong engineer with professional experience in gamesAt least two or more shipped gamesExperience with consoles like PS4/PS5 and XboxOne/SeriesX is preferableExcellent C++ programming skillsKnowledge of Unreal (UE4), Unity and other proprietary engines is preferableExperience of developing for multiplayer games highly desirableExperience with smart or mobile devices would be a plusAttention to detail with a strong ability to analyse and comprehend directionAwesome technical insight and a finisher of technical tasks on timeA good communicator with the ability to verbalise conceptual thoughts and the willingness to accept constructive critiqueAbility to use initiative and take proactive action to provide solutionsExcellent problem solving, debugging and optimisation skills
